As our name suggests, we overlook the prestigious first class Bowral Golf Club, a magnificent backdrop, and a private club
which welcomes our guests.
Highlands Wild Escapes offer fantastic adventures such as
fly fishing or 4WD tours with Mark Tickner.
We can also arrange: abseiling and rock climbing experiences,
scenic flights or vintage plane flights, motorcycle tours,
tennis, bushwalks or horse riding at local equestrian centres.
A selection of short tours is available. Sample itineraries
include:
- Tour of historic Berrima Village, visit Mundrakoona Estate
Mittagong for wine tasting and blacksmith exhibition.
- Tour of district including Exeter, Bundanoon, Fitzroy
Falls with stop to view Falls then to Burrawang & return
to Bowral for tour of Bradman Museum,
- Visit historic Joadja village, which includes a guided
tour in wagons towed by a tractor exploring the ruins
of the first village & shale production facility
in the Southern Highlands.
- Shopping tours taking in local crafts markets, antiques
stores, wineries.
- Visit some of the district's many beautiful gardens and
nurseries.

5th Saturday Markets

Avoca Old Time Dance
Date: Second Friday of each Month except October
Venue: Avoca Hall, Sheepwash Road, Avoca

Held at the Avoca Hall from 7.30pm till midnight, this is a dance for all the family. Music is by Tom McQuade’s Illawarra Flames. Admission is $10 for adults & $3.50 for children under 15 years – supper is included.
Bundanoon Village Markets

Piano at Ten

Bowral Farmers Market
